Corsica - Patrimonio

Domaine Orenga de Gaffory, situated in the midst of the exquisite Patrimonio appellation in northern Corsica, a spectacular region inscribed in the World Heritage list, cultivates its sixty hectares with a range of traditional Corsican
grape varieties- Niellucio, Vermentino, Sciacarellu, Minustellu, Aleatico and Muscat Petits Grains.

The owner of the family estate Henri Orenga de Gaffory exerts his life-long passion for the art of vine growing and winemaking with an ever growing dedication for the unique terroirs producing wines characterised by their balanced structure and aromatic concentration as well as potential for aging. Being committed to making great wines by working in harmony with nature we have decided to convert our vine plots to organic farming. In our work we continue to maintain and enhance ecological balance by focusing on the main principles of organic cultivation such as biodiversity, sustainability, natural pest management, natural plant fertilisation and soil integrity.

Equally passionate about contemporary art, Henri hosts annual exhibitions of modern art displaying works of renowned Corsican and international artists. The presence of our wines at some of the world's best venues, their recognition by the finest sommeliers and specialists reinforces the estate team members in their continuous pursuit of excellence.
