Rhône Valley is the second largest appellation in France. It is the kingdom of Grenache in the South and Syrah in the North. The high praise from Robert Parker, and the increased quality of wine from a growing number of top producers in the region led to a world recognition, and increased demand.

In Southern Rhône, the blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre might be considered the most typical – and gave birth to the Australian ‘GSM’ style.
