Arnaud de la Chanonie was born in the Vaucluse (down the road from Châteauneuf-du-Pape)
in 1964. The combination of Arnaud's lifelong friendships with many young and promising
vintners and his subsequent experience in the Bordeaux wholesale trade have enabled him
to forge strong links with reliable suppliers.
Having established our own independent export agency in 1998, we now coordinate
the export of wines from more than fifty domaines to Europe, USA and the Far East.
- We hunt for the best values among vintners and vintages. Reports about 'rising star' domaines lead us to pay personal visits, which in turn lead us to look and listen, and to participate in tastings. The quarry: undervalued great wines.
- We establish good working relationships between our suppliers and our distributors. An excellent rapport among all the players makes for stable, long-term alliances, which work to everybody's advantage.
- We coordinate orders, deliveries, and after-sales customer service.
- We help to promote the wines we have selected.
We organize regular meetings, in the workplace, between our winegrowers and our distributors, in order to inspire mutual confidence and enthusiasm, prompt new ideas, and thereby increase sales.
