Henri Duboscq - Château Haut Marbuzet, Bordeaux (Saint Estephe)
Chateau Haut Marbuzet is the greatest Saint Estèphe at this level of price. This terrific value is classified Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel. Located between Cos d’Estournel and Montrose, the vineyard is planted in one of the best terroirs of St Estephe.

Erwann Flageul - Château Brillette, Moulis cru Bourgeois
Chateau Brillette is the rising star of Moulis en Médoc which counts three other famous estates : Poujeaux, Chasse Spleen and Moulin à Vent. The 40 hectare-vineyard of Château Brillette is located on top of a hill and planted in a beautiful terroir of clay, sand and gravels which make for complexity.

Michel Boyer - Chateau du Cros, Bordeaux, Graves and Loupiac
Michel Boyer runs a family estate of 90 hectares and fashions a range of excellent-value wines from various appellations of Bordeaux. His sweet Loupiac and white Bordeaux Sauvignon are among the best wines of their appellations.

Remy Verdier - Chateau Bessan, Bordeaux, 1eres Cotes de Bordeaux
Remy and Sylvie Verdier produce fine red and white Bordeaux on their 20-hectare vineyard located on the right bank of the Garonne. Their reds are fruit-oriented thanks to the hefty proportion of Merlot. Whites (70% Sauvignon - and the rest Semillon) are fresh and crispy. Both are excellent values.

Iakob Schjerbeck - Cousin et Compagnie, Bordeaux great values
Danish-born Iakob Schjerbeck is a dynamic young grower and wholesaler. He created in 1994 the lively wine shop Cousin et Compagnie, in the heart of Bordeaux. Cousin features up-and-coming Bordeaux, but it also offers a wide range of wines from other regions. Iakob is deeply involved in winemaking and produces the delicious, stylish red Bordeaux that goes by the name Divin. Divin has recently been rated among the world's 50 best-value wine buys by Decanter.
